Olive Tree Inc. launched the men’s varsity jacket from its label THE URAh on 10 October 2026. It is available now through the official online store at theurah.com.
The exterior is plain black, without a logo. The lining is a jacquard woven in Kyoto, in a choice of four colours. The label takes its name from uramasari, an Edo-period sensibility in which value was placed on the inside of a garment rather than displayed on its surface — rebuilt here in contemporary Japanese craft.
Each jacket passes through four regions of Japan: melton wool from Bishu, kurozan leather from Himeji for the sleeves, jacquard lining and woven labels from Kyoto, and tailoring in Hanyu.
Season 1 is limited to one hundred pieces worldwide. The price is JPY 298,000 (incl. tax). Shipping begins in late November 2026.
